Welcome Mrs. Dubbs!
Check your grades-they are up to date!
You have an email assignment-please check your email.
We are going to attempt video editing again! Those of you who had trouble with the software will be getting new accounts, just for these projects. I will give those to you tomorrow when I get back.
Our project will be similar, but not the same as the one we started at the beginning of the school year.
It will still be a vacation theme but this time you will pick ONE place in the world and collect 5 – 10 pictures that represent that place. For example, I may choose to go to London. I will go to the internet and find 5 -10 pictures of places I would see or visit in London like Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, West Minister Abbey, London Buses, Big Ben, and so on.
Make a new folder and name it the name of the place you will be “visiting”. For my example I would make a folder called “London”. Search for images about that location and save them in your new folder.

Wed: Work on finishing up "Me Walking" Add music, etc
Thurs: Your next Film project plan is due-if done-practice with Jam Studio
Friday: Me Walking must be done and exported to the Windows Media Format
Wednesday and Thursday, September 30-October 1, 2009
Editing your movie: "Me Walking". Remember you video needs to have at least the five scenes you were assigned when you filmed. If you need to film again-get the camera.
Be thinking about your next video. These can be about:
To inform or teach your audience-to teach them about something -like a demonstration on how to cook a certain recipe
To document an event-like you brother's birthday party
Tell a story
You can work in groups but each student will have to create their own video so everyone in your group will get copies of the video clips you film. You can work with friends that are not in your computer class if you can video at home.
Before you begin, turn in your plan for your video-write out what you are going to do, who is in your group, where you will film.
You can film at school or at home. If you film at home and use your own camera bring the memory chip to school, I will download and then return it to you. See me if you need to check out a camera.
