Hart-Ransom School is a school of the past, present and future. Nestled amongst almond and walnut orchards on the west side of the growing metropolis of Modesto, Hart-Ransom is steeped in a rich history. Parents and grandparents of many of our students are Hart-Ransom graduates and the closeness of the community is evident on campus and at special school events. Highly active community and parent involvement are a reflection of the long-standing “family” that grows with each new student and family that attends the school.

Hart-Ransom is a school of a dynamic present. A strong educational program based on the California Content Standards and a dedication to the success of all students is the primary goal. The caring and highly qualified teaching staff is instrumental in the academic success of our school as is evident in the Student Achievement statistics in this School Accountability Report Card.

Hart-Ransom is a school with a promising future. As we move into the 21st century, modernization and construction will improve the physical site of the school. Additionally, the curriculum and instruction will develop into a more highly technological venue. Web-based textbooks, interactive lessons presented through advanced technology will just be a few ways that Hart-Ransom will continue to strengthen the curriculum for our students.
