Davy Crockett is famous for many different things. He is known for killing a bear when he was three years old, slaughtering a swamp alligator, and even wrestling a panther. Davy , when he grew older, won an election against William Butler, but unfortunately lost his first election into Congress in 1824. Crockett also became an army scout. Another political job Davy got was, that he was elected into the House of Representatives. Another position Davy took was he took the position of the county justice of peace.

    The biggest thing that Davy is famous for is fighting in the Alamo. Sadly, Davy died at the Alamo, but he was alone and not tortured.
