Measure G Citizens’ Oversight Committee Meeting

Minutes

Dr. Lochry called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.  He welcomed the members and introductions were made.  Committee members in attendance were: Scott Vincent, Isabel Harris, Bruce Oosterkamp, Mike Cruce, Kristy Gonsalves, and Tim Byrd.  Phil Breazeale was absent.  School Board President Greg Austin was also present.

Dr. Lochry provided an overview of the bond election process and the requirements of Proposition 39, which stipulates the formation of bond oversight committees.  The Board-adopted committee bylaws were reviewed, and officers were elected.  The following individuals were elected as committee officers: President: Scott Vincent; Vice President: Bruce Oosterkamp; Secretary: Kristy Gonsalves.

Dr. Lochry and Mr. Austin discussed the scope of the project and construction progress to date, followed by a general discussion and questions from committee members.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:16 p.m.
